Busisiwe Sithole is married to Shadrack Sithole for over 24 years. She is a kind, nurturing mother figure, not only to her daughter but to many as God has allowed her to use her life’s experiences to share wisdom.
Busisiwe matriculated at Bonginhlanhla High School and was a very discreet person and that attracted her husband who later became her soul mate to date. Busisiwe participated in the student Christian movement. She is a Monitoring and Evaluation specialist. She completed her undergrad in communication science and an Honors in Organizational Communication from the University of South Africa (Unisa), a Post-Graduate diploma in Management (M&E) from the University of Witswaterstrand as well as a Diploma in Business Management obtained from Damelin College. Furthermore, she completed a course in Municipal finance Management Programme at the University of Pretoria and a Project management course, Monitoring & Evaluation certificates at the University of Cape Town.
She has impeccable experience on both the private and public sector namely, Damelin College and City Mbombela. Served in various capacities which include; Administrator, Faculty Manager and Marketin manager, at Damelin College. Fastforward, served in a number of positions such as a Personal Assistant (PA) to Director: Public safety, formed part of the local organizing committee for the 2010 Soccer World Cup, Executive Assistant to the municipal manager, Personal Assistant to the Mayor, Manager (Monitoring and Evaluation) and presently serves as a Senior Manager in the Office of the City Manager.
She believes that her marriage taught her a lot, thus very interested and passionate about this initiative.
